Annie the Cow

Annie the Cow is the beloved fiberglass mascot of the Cow Days Festival in Greensburg, Kentucky, a life-size Holstein cow. Annie was introduced as a fun, interactive centerpiece. Kids (and adults) can "milk" her udders to dispense flavored drinks like Kool-Aid making her an instant hit and a symbol of the festival's lighthearted spirit.

Over the decades, Annie has remained a staple attraction at the annual September event, often stationed at the Rotary booth where she dispenses refreshments and draws crowds, especially children experiencing the novelty of milking a cow. Described in festival promotions and local accounts as one of the biggest draws, she embodies the community's pride in its farming traditions while adding a whimsical, family-friendly element to the street festival's activities like parades, music, games, and food booths. Annie continues to charm visitors each year, helping keep Cow Days a cherished tradition in Greensburg.
